NEPTUNE: A sweeping redevelopment plan for the township's Midtown section was unanimously approved by the Planning Board on Wednesday. The plan, submitted by Trenton-based CityWorks, calls for the construction of eight buildings that would house retail, office and condominium units. The project would sit on 8 acres along West Lake Avenue, from Route 35 to just east of Myrtle Avenue. There were no objections raised at the meeting.
The developer still must secure state and county permits.
