Tom Clark

Executive Director

Tom Clark has extensive experience in property and construction project management. In his most recent position as Senior Director of Operations of PTC Therapeutics, a pharmaceutical research firm, he oversaw the construction of a 30,000-square-foot facility in ten weeks, as well as the addition of 10,000 square feet as the number of firm employees grew from two to 92. In addition, Mr. Clark designed and implemented safety procedures for the firm's laboratories.

Since 1996, Mr. Clark has been a partner in and property manager for St. George's Dragons, a real estate management firm. In this capacity, he managed demolition, renovation and restoration projects in a 30,000-square-foot retail/office building in downtown Red Bank, and negotiated master leases for 13 commercial tenants.

Mr. Clark also served as Vice President and National Sales Manager for Unirubber, a manufacturer of mechanical rubber products. Prior to assuming that position, he owned and operated Brunswick Rubber Company.

Mr. Clark served as the first, full-time Director of the Red Bank River Center. He was the founding chairman of New Brunswick City Market, a non-profit organization promoting downtown New Brunswick, as well as Chairman of the New Brunswick Housing Authority. He also was a partner in the Atlantic Group, a consulting firm for communities operating under Special Improvement District legislation.

Mr. Clark has been an avid and tireless community volunteer. He is a founding Chairman of Elijah's Promise Soup Kitchen in New Brunswick and of Vote, New Brunswick! He is also a founding Board member and Vice President of Downtown New Jersey.
